NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Honors Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan on 21st Death Anniversary

Islamabad: In a solemn ceremony held yesterday, Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, paid tribute to the late Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan on his 21st death anniversary, lauding his efforts in strengthening parliamentary democracy and promoting political integrity in Pakistan.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq highlighted Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan’s significant contributions to upholding the Constitution and the Parliament throughout his 70-year political career. He praised Khan’s dedication to democratic values and his role in the Pakistan Movement, which were pivotal in shaping the nation’s political landscape. “His unwavering commitment to tolerance, democratic ideals, and political harmony is a shining example for all,” Sadiq said during the event.

The Speaker also emphasized Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan’s efforts towards achieving political and economic stability in Pakistan. He remarked on Khan’s integrity and high principles, which continue to inspire current and future generations to adhere to democratic principles and uphold national integrity.

Furthermore, Sadiq noted Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan’s skill in creating political consensus on critical issues, crossing party lines. He also recalled his tenure as the first Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir, praising his efforts to bring international attention to the Kashmir cause.

The ceremony concluded with Sardar Ayaz Sadiq offering prayers for Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan, requesting the highest ranks in paradise for his soul.
