Islamabad: National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah have expressed profound sorrow over the tragic bus accident in Yazd, Iran, which resulted in the loss of several Pakistani pilgrims. The officials conveyed their condolences during separate statements following the incident.
According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the bus, which was carrying Pakistani pilgrims, overturned and caught fire near the Taftan-Dehshir Check Point in Iran. Both the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker extended their heartfelt sympathies to the families of the deceased, describing the loss as irreparable and sharing in the grief of those affected.
The leaders prayed for the souls of the deceased, hoping for their elevation in Jannah and for comfort to the families during this difficult time. The expressions of condolence reflect the gravity of the event and the solidarity of Pakistan’s top legislative officials with the victims and their families.
