Lahore, May 19, 2023 (PPI-OT): While visiting Jinnah House Lahore today, Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf expressed solidarity with Pakistan Army on behalf of the entire nation. He also expressed deep sorrow and grief while witnessing situation at Jinnah House Lahore. He added, “every Pakistani heart is crying with tears of blood on this situation.”
NA Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf also said that 9th May is the darkest day in the annals of Pakistan political history. While condemning the burning of Jinnah House, he said that it is an issue of national regret and the whole nation is saddened over this. He said that this vandalism is condemnable in every sense of word. He added, “sabotaging such symbols of national pride is unimaginable for each patriotic Pakistani.”
While appreciating the patience and foresight of the Pakistan Army, he reiterates that “we were, are and will always be with our brave Pakistan Army.” He also stressed on new generation to realize that that if there is Pakistan Army then there is Pakistan, if there is Pakistan then everything is there. He also said that Pakistan is trust in our hands for our next generation and brave Pakistani nation stands with its Army
