Karachi: Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, and Deputy Speaker, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, paid a visit to Senator Sherry Rehman’s residence in Karachi to offer their condolences following the death of her daughter, Marvi Khurshid Malik.
According to National Assembly of Pakistan, both officials expressed their sorrow over the loss. They participated in Fateha, a prayer for the deceased, seeking eternal peace for Marvi Khurshid Malik and her elevation in the hereafter. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq acknowledged the tragedy’s magnitude, noting the difficulty of losing an only daughter. He expressed solidarity with Sherry Rehman and her family, emphasizing the need for strength and patience during this challenging time.
Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah shared similar sentiments, recognizing the depth of the family’s loss. He prayed for the family’s resilience and the departed soul’s peace, extending his support to Sherry Rehman and her loved ones.
