Mysterious Illness Claims 15 Lives in Rajouri Amid Growing Authorities’ Apathy


Jammu: A mysterious illness continues to claim lives in Badhaal village of Rajouri, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, with the death toll rising to 15 as another little girl, Zabina Kousar, succumbed in the district.



According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the tragedy has brought to light glaring apathy on the part of the occupation authorities, whose response has been criticized for contributing to the escalation of this health crisis.



The deceased, including 12 children, belong to three families residing within a 1.5-kilometer radius. The cause of the illness remains unidentified, raising concerns among the local population.



Residents have complained of a lack of support and transparency from the authorities, highlighting a growing sense of frustration and distrust.



The lack of decisive action, despite the alarming death toll, has sparked anger among residents, who are demanding accountability and immediate preventive measures to avert further loss of life.



Public trust in the administration is diminishing as families mourn their tragic losses amidst an unresolved health crisis.
