Muzaffarabad, The International Forum for Justice and Human Rights held a protest demonstration in Muzaffarabad, voicing strong opposition to the series of massacres, including those in Gaw Kadal, Handwara, Kupwara, and Sopore, that have occurred in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the protest saw substantial participation, with demonstrators raising slogans against the Indian government and military for their alleged war crimes in the region. Participants carried placards and banners condemning the killings of Kashmiris.

They expressed frustration that, despite the passage of three decades, no action has been taken against the Indian soldiers implicated in these massacres. The speakers also noted that despite reports from international human rights organizations like Amnesty International and Asia Watch, the United Nations has failed to address India’s alleged war crimes, purportedly emboldening India to continue its actions against the Kashmiri people.
The demonstrators called upon international human rights organizations to intervene and help protect the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Prominent figures who addressed the protest included Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Vice Chairman of the International Forum for Justice, Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Chairman of Pasban-i-Hurriyat, PPP leader Shaukat Javed Mir, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Azad Kashmir Ameer Mahmood-ul-Hasan Ashraf, Usman Ali Hashim, Advocate Mehtab Hameed, Muhammad Nasir Lodhi, Shahid-ul-Islam, Syed Mehmood Shah, Aamir Awan, and Shaheen Abbasi.
