MUZAFFARABAD, A protest rally was held in Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, on World Human Rights Day, voicing strong objections against the ongoing Indian atrocities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Israeli aggression in Palestine. This public demonstration was a joint effort by Pasban-e Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir and the International Forum for Justice and Human Rights.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the protesters chanted slogans in support of the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine, while expressing their dissent against the actions of India and Israel. The rally highlighted the urgent need for international intervention to protect basic human rights in these regions.
The speakers at the rally emphasized the severity of the situation, pointing out the ongoing Israeli attacks on Palestinians in Gaza, which they described as a genocidal campaign. They also drew attention to India’s alleged brutal treatment of the majority Muslim population in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, calling for an end to these actions.
The silence of the international community on the reported massacres in Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine was a subject of deep regret for the participants. They stressed the need for global attention and action against what they perceive as illegal occupations by India and Israel.
The protesters expressed their solidarity through slogans, black flags, banners, and placards bearing anti-India, anti-Israel, and pro-freedom messages. The rally, which started at Sathra Mor, concluded at Gharipan Chowk, demonstrating the community’s commitment to the causes of Kashmiri and Palestinian people.
