Muzaffarabad, A significant protest was held outside the Central Press Club in Muzaffarabad, organized by Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, against the construction of the ‘Ram Temple’ on the site of the demolished Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the demonstration saw various speakers, including Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Raja Muhammad Arif Khan, and others, condemning the actions of India and Israel, labeling them as the world’s biggest terrorist countries for their alleged activities against Islam. The speakers accused Israel of demolishing mosques in Gaza and India of destroying the Babri Masjid, a symbol of Islamic renaissance in South Asia.
The protest highlighted deep-seated grievances regarding the replacement of the Babri Masjid with the Ram Temple. Speakers expressed their disappointment with the Muslim Ummah’s passive response to the construction of the Ram Temple at the historic mosque site. They criticized India’s actions in Jammu and Kashmir, alleging attacks on Muslim identity in the region.
The demonstrators urged the 57 Muslim-majority countries to take action against what they termed as war crimes against Muslims in India. They held out hope for the reconstruction of the Babri Masjid in its former glory on its original site.
In conclusion, the speakers called for a diplomatic boycott against India by the Muslim Ummah in response to these developments.
