Karachi, Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars, has commenced a significant nine-day visit to Pakistan. The visit is centered around promoting interfaith dialogue and cooperation, reflecting a broader commitment to strengthening cultural and diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Al-Issa was warmly welcomed upon his arrival at Dat Nur Khan Airbase by Chaudhry Salik Hussain, the Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Overseas Pakistanis, and Human Resource Development. Highlighting the importance of his visit, Dr. Al-Issa is set to lead the Eid-ul-Fitr prayer at the Faisal Mosque, one of the most prominent Islamic symbols in Pakistan.
Additionally, the Secretary General will inaugurate the groundbreaking ceremony for the Seerat-un-Nabi Museum. This innovative museum is dedicated to displaying Prophetic Relics using modern technologies, aiming to enhance the understanding and appreciation of the Prophet’s life among visitors.
Dr. Al-Issa’s agenda also includes meetings with Pakistani leadership, underscoring the mutual interest in nurturing strong diplomatic and cultural connections between the two nations. The visit exemplifies a deep-seated relationship that extends beyond mere diplomatic interactions, venturing into the realms of religious harmony and intercultural dialogue.
