Muslim world league lauds stance of Prime Minister Imran Khan on Islamo-Phobia: Secretary General Muslim World League Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Essa

Islamabad, June 17, 2021 (PPI-OT):Muslim World League playing imperative role for peace and stability in Afghanistan with coordinated support of Pak-Afghan Ulemas We are making endeavours to address issues of Islamic world with support of Muslim World League: Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi Prime Minister Imran khan’s stance on Islamo-phobia and for unity of Islamic world is laudable and praiseworthy. Muslim world League has been playing positive role with coordination of the Ulemas of Pakistan and Afghanistan for peace and stability in Afghanistan, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Special Aide to Prime Minister on Interfaith Harmony and Middle East.

In a declaration issued here on Thursday following the meeting between Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi and Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Essa, Secretary General Muslim World League, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi said that interfaith dialogue is need of the time. Decision of Saudi government to arrange Hajj pilgrimage for 60,000 pilgrims is in accordance of Islamic Shariah and according to prevailing circumstances in wake of Coronavirus pandemic. Muslim World League is a unanimous forum for Muslim Ulemas-Mashaikh and Muftis and endeavours are being made to rectify confronting issues of Muslim Ummah with coordinated support of Muslim world League, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi.

Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Kareem, Secretary General Muslim world League said on this occasion that Pakistan has very important position in the Muslim world and Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are knotted in relationship of brotherhood and affection. He said that stance of Prime Minister Imran khan on the issues of Muslim Ummah is representation of the sentiments of Muslim world. Muslim world League will remain available to extend cooperation for unity of the Muslim world and to contain Islamo-phobia at every level and forum. He said that Pak-Afghan Ulemas Conference, which held in the aegis of Muslim world League is a message of peace and stability.

Saudi Arabia also wants peace as advocated by Pakistan and Afghanistan, said Dr Abdul Kareem Al-Essa adding that Pakistan’s role for peace and stability in Afghanistan is very important and efforts rendered by Ulemas and Government of Pakistan are very laudable. Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi thanked Muslim World League for making continued efforts to address issues of Muslims and Islamic world. He said that Muslim World League is strengthened forum of leading personalities of Islamic world and taking forward the rightful interpretation of Islamic faith before the world. Pakistan’s Ulemas-Mashaikh have been supporting the Pak-Afghan Ulemas Conference, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi.

He also thanks Muslim World League for endorsing the stance of Prime Minister Imran khan on Islamo-phobia. Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said that Saudi Arabia has always served the pilgrims of Hajj and Umrah and in wake of Coronavirus pandemic, decision on part of Saudi government to observe Hajj pilgrimage with limited pilgrims is in accordance with Islamic Shariah.
