Islamabad, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, has called on New Delhi to cease its gross human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). During her address at the Kashmir Conference held in Islamabad, Mullick highlighted the severe tactics used by Indian occupation forces, including the use of white phosphorus and pellet guns against civilians in Kashmir.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Mullick drew parallels between the situation in Kashmir and the recent Israeli actions in Gaza, condemning the carpet bombing of hospitals as a genocidal act against Palestinians.
Her plea emphasizes the pressing need for international attention and action to resolve the long-standing conflict in Kashmir. Mullick’s statements reflect a broader concern for human rights and the need for humanitarian intervention to protect innocent lives in conflict zones.
The Kashmir Conference in Islamabad serves as a platform to raise awareness and advocate for the rights of people in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The focus of the conference is not only on highlighting the ongoing human rights abuses but also on seeking peaceful solutions to end the suffering of Kashmiris.
Mullick’s call for action is a part of Pakistan’s continued efforts to bring international attention to the plight of Kashmiris and seek a resolution in accordance with international law and human rights norms.
