RIYADH, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Special Assistant to the Pakistan Prime Minister on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, has expressed gratitude towards Saudi Arabia for its steadfast support to the Kashmiri people.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mullick met with Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and President of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, in Riyadh. During this meeting, they explored various topics, including the advancement of women’s empowerment within the framework of Islamic guidelines. The discussion also encompassed efforts to promote interfaith harmony, peace building, and the universal rights of all humans irrespective of their caste, color, and creed.
Mullick briefed Mohammed Al-Issa on her ministry’s 100-day plan aimed at elevating the economic status of women, transgenders, and minorities. She lauded the efforts of Mohammad Bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, in advancing the role of women in sustainable development.
In addition to discussing women’s empowerment, both Mullick and Al-Issa urged the international community to address the dire situation in Gaza. They strongly criticized the recent statements made by an Israeli Occupation government minister, which included a threat to use nuclear weapons in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting further emphasized the enduring relationship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, rooted in religious, social, economic, and people-to-people ties. Mullick and Al-Issa reaffirmed their commitment to principles of inclusivity, regional connectivity, and geo-economic strategies.
