Islamabad: Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the wife of Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik, has urged for the resolution of the longstanding Kashmir dispute. She emphasized the importance of addressing this issue to prevent further regional tensions.

In a press conference held in Islamabad, Mullick highlighted Kashmir as the core issue in the region. She warned that without addressing it, India’s alleged false flag operations would persist.

Mullick pointed to US President Donald Trump’s offer of mediation as evidence that Kashmir should not be viewed solely as India’s internal matter. She noted the potential roles that the United States and China could play in facilitating negotiations.

Criticizing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mullick remarked on his readiness to escalate issues, potentially to the point of nuclear confrontation, for electoral gains. She claimed Modi has suffered a significant political setback, affecting his ability to engage with others on the matter.

These remarks follow President Trump’s recent expression of interest in resolving the Kashmir conflict.
