Mushaal Hussein Mullick and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa Advocate for Interfaith Harmony and Resolution of Kashmir and Gaza Issues

RIYADH, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, met with the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, to discuss initiatives promoting interfaith harmony, peace building, and inclusivity.

According to Press Information Department (PID), the meeting focused on various issues, including women’s empowerment under Islamic guidelines. Mullick briefed Al-Issa about her ministry’s 100-day plan aimed at economically uplifting women, transgenders, and minorities.

Highlighting the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Mullick informed Al-Issa about the acts of genocide committed by Indian forces and the massacre of innocent people in the valley. She urged Al-Issa to contribute to resolving the long-standing Kashmir dispute in line with UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

Mullick also commended the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammad Bin Salman, for his efforts in promoting women’s roles in sustainable development and his support for the Kashmiri cause. She expressed hope for a peaceful future.

Both leaders called on the international community to address the dire situation in Gaza. They condemned threats made by an Israeli government minister to use a nuclear bomb in Gaza. The meeting concluded with both leaders reaffirming the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, grounded in shared religious, social, economic values, and people-to-people connections. They emphasized their commitment to inclusivity, regional connectivity, and geo-economic strategies.
