Jeddah, At the International Conference on Women in Islam, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to take substantive measures to address the plight of her imprisoned husband, Yasin Malik, and the broader issues faced by Kashmiris and Palestinians. She reinforced Pakistan’s position as a vocal advocate for women’s rights and leadership and for the freedom movements in Kashmir and Palestine.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting reports that Mullick emphasized the innocence of Malik and other Kashmiri political prisoners and called for a resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with United Nations resolutions. She highlighted Pakistan’s dedication to supporting the legitimate struggles of these communities.
