Speaking on a private television channel, Dr. Malik underscored the importance of these projects in sustaining the agriculture sector, which is vital to nearly half of the nation’s population.
According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Malik emphasized the need for political consensus to initiate significant dam projects throughout the country. The Minister’s call to action comes in light of the increasing demands on water resources, which are critical for both agricultural productivity and energy generation.
