Islamabad: In a significant legal development, the court has sentenced Arbab Khaleel to death for the murder of Faisal Ilyas, while his accomplices, Farooq Azam and Moazzam, received two-year prison terms for tampering with evidence.

The case, stemming from FIR No. 1673/22 filed at the Khanna police station, involved a meticulous investigation by the police. Utilizing both technical and human resources, the police successfully apprehended the three accused individuals.

Solid evidence and a thorough trial led to the court’s verdict, finding all three men guilty of their respective charges. Khaleel was sentenced to death and fined, while Azam and Moazzam were also fined alongside their imprisonment sentences.

DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq commended the investigation team’s professionalism and announced cash rewards to honor their exemplary work.
