Murad Ali Shah Celebrates Ceasefire as Milestone for Regional Stability


KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has praised the recent ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India, calling it “a victory for peace and a triumph for all who desire stability in the region.” The announcement has reportedly been met with widespread approval in Pakistan.



Murad emphasized that the ceasefire marks a significant step towards de-escalation and offers an opportunity for both nations to focus on dialogue. He urged India to seek peaceful resolutions to longstanding disputes, including the Kashmir issue, through sustained dialogue and negotiations.



The chief minister commended the Pakistan Armed Forces for their role in maintaining national security, highlighting the contributions of the Pakistan Air Force. He also congratulated President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their leadership in achieving the ceasefire.



In addition to domestic efforts, Mr. Shah expressed gratitude to friendly nations, particularly the United States, for their diplomatic role in facilitating the agreement.



Murad Shah also recognized the contributions of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for advocating peace and representing Pakistan’s position on the international stage.
