Karachi: The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) has released the results for the post of Municipal Officer (BPS-17) in the Local Government Department, Government of Sindh. The announcement follows interviews and viva voce conducted on March 8, 2024, at the SPSC Regional Office in Karachi, in compliance with the Sindh High Court’s orders.
According to Public Service Commission Sindh, the release includes the roll numbers, names, and scores of successful candidates, listed in order of merit. Among the top candidates are Mr. Zohaib Ahmed, who scored 137.5, and Mr. Insaf Ali with 134.5. The results also include two differently-abled candidates, Mr. Basheer Ahmed and Mr. Murtajiz Ali, who scored 112.5 and 95.5, respectively. The outcomes are provisional and subject to further orders from the Supreme Court of Pakistan in case number CPLA 1433/2024.
The SPSC has noted that the publication of these results does not guarantee appointment to the position, as it remains a matter of right. The commission reserves the authority to modify or correct the results if any errors are detected. Full details of the results are available on the SPSC website.
