Mudslide Halts Traffic on Srinagar-Jammu Highway


Srinagar: Traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway was halted today following a mudslide in the Chamba Seri area of Ramban district in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir.



Officials from the traffic department informed the media that the landslide has completely stopped vehicular movement. Road clearance operations are currently underway.



Authorities have advised commuters to refrain from traveling on the highway until it is cleared. Travelers are encouraged to check the latest road status updates through the official social media accounts of the traffic police.
