Mother-son duo among 4 killed in IIOJK mishaps

Srinagar, August 10, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a mother and her son were among four persons killed in two road accidents in Kathua and Udhampur districts of the territory. The mother-son duo identified as Kamlesh Devi and son Darshan (45) was killed and six persons named Veena (40), Sonakshi (11), Nimrat (8), Shally (15), Janvi (12), were injured in a head-on collision between a Scorpio vehicle and an Alto car near DPS Rajbagh in Kathua.

Meanwhile, one heavy vehicle moving from Jammu to Srinagar, and one Wagon collided inside the Chenani-Nashri tunnel in Udhampure, official said, resulting in death of Ghulam Mohammad Ganai of Handwara, Kupwara and Gulzar Ahmad Lone of Khansahib, Budgam. One person, Showkat Ahmad Bhat of Yangora Ganderbal was injured and shifted to CHC Chenani, the officials added. The heavy vehicle (tralla) driver tried to escape but was caught at Nashri check post, the official said.
