Islamabad, July 12, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Ministry of National Health Services has asked the people to strictly follow COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures to prevent the spread of disease in the country. According to an official of the ministry, due to negligence of citizens in the implementation of SOPS, there are reports of an increase of coronavirus cases in some cities including the federal capital. The official said the government is once again taking strict measures to mitigate the spread of coronavirus infection in the country. He said that with the increase in the number of coronavirus infections, the number of patients in the hospitals has also increased.
