Molvi Bashir expresses concern over killing, arrest in IIOJK

Srinagar, June 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement (JKMM), Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irafani has expressed concern over the killing and arrest of innocent people by Indian troops in different areas of the territory. Molvi Bashir in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Indian troops had created the environment of fear in IIOJK and deplored that the troops were committing genocide of the Kashmiris in the garb of black laws.

He said that the authorities were using all tactics to suppress the Kashmiris’ just struggle for right to self-determination. The forced detention, molestation of women and destruction devastation of residential houses are being used as a war strategy, he deplored. He also reiterated the Kashmiris’ pledge to continue the liberation movement till taking it to its logical conclusion. Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irafani appealed to the United Nations and the UN Human Rights Council to take notice of the fresh killing spree and other human rights violations in IIOJK by Indian troops.
