Lahore, May 19, 2023 (PPI-OT): Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi visited Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology and Children’s Hospital and reviewed the medical facilities and sanitation arrangements provided in the hospitals. Mohsin Naqvi visited the patients in different wards and inquired about the treatment and primary angiography facilities.
Inquired about providing free medicines to patients and their doctors. The patients and the patients expressed their satisfaction on the treatment and primary angiography facilities and the availability of free medicines, while some patients complained about the lack of beds in the Faisalabad Institute of Radiology. Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi assured to increase the number of beds soon.
Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed his anger over overcharging in the parking area of Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology and ordered the police to take action against those who overcharge the parking lot. Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed to follow the SOPs for the care of children in the nursery of the Children’s Hospital and said that the facilities in the waiting room of the Children’s Hospital should be improved.
Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the expansion of Cardiology Institute is inevitable due to the rush of patients. A new emergency block will be constructed with the support of Friends of Allied Hospital Faisalabad.
He said that land is being allocated to start the construction of the new emergency block immediately. Provincial Minister Dr. Javed Akram, Aamir Mir, Advisor Wahab Riaz, renowned industrialist Gohar Ijaz, Inspector General Police, Commissioner Faisalabad, RPO, CPO, Deputy Commissioner, DPO and related officials were also present on this occasion.
