Mohsin Naqvi is angry about kite flying in some cities, Section 144 is in force throughout Punjab, if there is any incident, the concerned DPO will be responsible

Lahore, March 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has ordered a crackdown against those who violate the Kite Flying Prohibition Law and said that legal action should be taken against those who fly kites and aerial shooting without discrimination and the law should be banned in every city.

Strict implementation should be ensured. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed anger over the incidents of kite flying in some cities and said that Section 144 is in force to stop kite flying in Punjab and if any incident happens, the concerned DPO will be responsible. The loss of any human life as a result of kite flying cannot be tolerated.

The Chief Minister directed that the police should ensure full action against the aerial shooters and use drones and other modern technologies to monitor kite flying. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that despite the ban, making strings and kites is a matter of concern. Precious human lives in kite flying accidents Heartfelt regret for the loss.

He said that measures should be taken in advance to deal with the expected kite flying in Kasur and other districts. The Inspector General of Police said that action will be taken to cancel the arms license of the aerial shooters. Chief Secretary, Inspector General of Police, Additional Chief Secretary Interior, Additional IG Operations, Commissioner Lahore Division, CCPO Lahore and related officials attended the meeting while Commissioners of Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Multan and Faisalabad Divisions, R. POs, CPOs, Deputy Commissioners and DPOs participated in the meeting through video link.
