Modi regime’s denounced for targeting Kashmiris emotionally, psychologically

Srinagar, November 08, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders and organizations while condemning the Indian government’s plan to take control of the Hyderpora residence of the late iconic Kashmiri leader, Syed Ali Gilani, have said that India is hatching one after another conspiracies to target Kashmiris emotionally and psychologically.

The leaders and organizations in their statements in Srinagar said that by resorting to such tactics, the Modi regime would never succeed in dousing the flames of freedom in the territory. They maintained that the heinous plan to confiscate the residence of the late leader is part of the Modi-led Hindutva government’s big conspiracy to erase the symbol of resistance from the memory of the Kashmiri people and dissociate them from their places of great cultural, historical and religious significance.

The leaders said that the Kashmiris will continue to drive an inspiration from Syed Ali Gilani’s Hyderpora residence, wherefrom he led the freedom struggle for decades and wherein he breathed his last in detention on September 1, 2021. The leaders said that RSS-backed Modi regime’s all tricks and plans are bound to fail in IIOJK.

APHC leader from Jammu, Advocate Divender Singh Behal in a statement said that the people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir have an emotional attachment to the Hyderpora house where the late leader was kept under house arrest for more than a decade and passed away due to lack of proper medical care.

He further said that Syed Ali Gelani was the most popular and determined leader of the Kashmir freedom movement and strongly advocated the people’s right to self-determination under the UN auspices. He sacrificed his life for the cause and never led his people down. Behal made it clear that such pressure tactics cannot stop the people and their leaders from pursuing the cause of freedom.
