Modi regime issues IIOJK domicile to outsider spouse

Srinagar, July 21, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Modi regime in violation of the rules and regulations granted domicile certificate to an outsider husband of a Kashmiri woman, a practice which was not permissible in the past. The step was taken to pen gate for an influx of the outsiders to change the demography of Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier, the spouses of IIOJK women who married non-Kashmiris or outsiders were ineligible for Permanent Resident Certificate, PRC, which is already enshrined in article 35A, which came to be applicable after enactment of Article 370 on 26th of January 1950.

However, on 5th of August 2019, Modi led RSS–BJP fascist regime illegally and undemocratically abrogated the Articles to advance its Hindutva agenda in Jammu and Kashmir. Talking to media men the civil society members in Srinagar termed it another sinister and anti-Kashmir move to change demography of the territory.
