Srinagar, December 21, 2022 (PPI-OT):Senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar, has said that Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government is engaged in ethnic cleansing of Muslims in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar in a statement issued in Srinagar said butcher Modi has turned IIOJK into a killing field were innocent people are being killed by Indian troops with impunity. He deplored that the Modi regime maddened by the arrogance of power is trampling everything to impose its devilish Hindutva ideology in the occupied territory.
“Killing of innocent Kashmiris has become favourite pastime and profitable business of Indian troops. Dreaded Indian forces’ personnel are erasing properties to the ground. Thousands of Kashmiris including Hurriyat leaders and ordinary people are rotting in Indian jails on fabricated cases. Properties of pro-freedom leaders are being confiscated on different excuses. All these oppressive methods are aimed at intimidating the freedom-loving Kashmiris into submission,” he said. Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar made it clear that history is witness to the fact that no just struggle could be crushed through military might. He said the day is not far when truth will prevail and falsehood will perish and Kashmiris will break the shackles of slavery.
The APHC leader said in the present critical situation when the entire occupied Kashmir has been turned into a prison and millions of Kashmiris are under constant siege, every inch of the territory is dotted with troops and bunkers, Kashmiris are living under shadow of Indian guns, it is the responsibility of Kashmiri diaspora to launch a campaign to expose ugly face of India in the whole world.
He lauded the role of Kashmiris and Pakistanis living abroad and hoped that they will expedite their efforts to apprise the world community about the miseries of the people of IIOJK. Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar also thanked Pakistan for raising the Kashmir dispute forcefully at the UN and other international forums. He said that Pakistan Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, by calling Modi the butcher of Gujarat has won the hearts of Kashmiri and Indian Muslims who are confronting Hindutva terrorism in its naked form.
Meanwhile, APHC-AJK chapter leader, Muhammad Sultan Butt, appealed to the international community to force India to stop its state terrorism in IIOJK. He paid glowing tribute to the three Kashmiri youth martyred by Indian troops in Shopian, the other day, and other martyrs of Kashmir freedom movement. He also thanked Pakistan for its unequivocal support to the Kashmiris’ just struggle for right to self-determination.
