Mobile Veterinary Camps Scheduled Across Lasbela and Hub to Combat Seasonal Livestock Diseases

Lasbela: In a proactive move to address seasonal diseases affecting livestock, the Livestock Department, under the guidance of the District Administration Lasbela, has laid out a detailed schedule for mobile veterinary camps across various tehsils in Lasbela and Hub districts. These camps aim to provide crucial medical services to the livestock of local breeders, ensuring the health and productivity of their animals during the disease-prone season.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the District Livestock Officer’s office has announced a series of mobile veterinary camps set to take place from September 15 to September 19. Specifically, the camps will be held in Bela Gudurgoth tehsil of Lasbela district from September 15 to 17, in Lakhra tehsil, Bojeri, and Dudabazarwinder in Hub district on September 16, in Awadan on September 17, and in Ling Lohar from September 15 to 17. Additionally, from September 17 to 19 and from September 15 to 18, camps will also be organized in Sheikh Goth and Veerab respectively.

These three-day veterinary camps are designed to tackle the various types of seasonal diseases that typically afflict livestock in these regions. Local cattle breeders are encouraged to bring their livestock to the designated locations on the specified days for treatment and preventive care. The initiative reflects the district administration’s commitment to supporting the livestock industry, which is a vital part of the local economy.

Local livestock owners have expressed appreciation for these efforts, highlighting the importance of timely medical interventions to maintain the health of their animals and, by extension, their livelihoods. The camps are an essential resource, providing access to veterinary services that might otherwise be inaccessible to breeders in these rural areas.
