Mobile Towers Torched in Chhattisgarh Amidst Ongoing Violence

Raipur, Two under-construction BSNL mobile towers were set ablaze in Chhattisgarh, signaling ongoing violence in the Indian state. The incidents occurred in Chameli village and a nearby garden in Narayanpur district, areas prone to Naxalite attacks.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the attacks on the mobile towers are believed to have been carried out by Naxalites, a group involved in a prolonged insurgency against the Indian government. Local police have yet to release detailed information on the incident but have confirmed the events and are expected to provide updates as investigations proceed.

The destruction of infrastructure such as mobile towers highlights the challenges faced by Indian authorities in securing remote and conflict-prone areas.
