MNA Anjum Aqeel Assesses Educational Standards and Provides Guidance During ICT School Visits


Islamabad: Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Anjum Aqeel recently toured several educational institutions within the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), where he evaluated their operations and discussed strategies for further improvement. The schools visited included IMCB F8/4, IMSB F10/1, and F10/2.



According to Press Information Department, Anjum Aqeel, who serves on the Sub-Committee on Education, was joined by Director PMU, Ms. Faiza Fatima, MOFE PT, Director Schools, and other relevant officials during his inspection. The team assessed the educational conditions and the implementation of existing programs. MNA Aqeel expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the Secretary, MOFE PT, in upholding high educational standards across the institutions.



During his visit, MNA Aqeel urged the school administrations to increase community engagement to compensate for government’s limited funding. He emphasized the significance of involving civil society members in initiating new projects in the schools. Additionally, Aqeel highlighted the necessity of digital literacy and encouraged the institutions to prioritize teaching about the digital world to equip students with essential modern skills. He also praised the MOFE PT for their initiatives in digital learning and foreign language programs, which he noted as crucial in preparing students for global challenges.



The visit by MNA Aqeel was aimed at reviewing the current state of education in the ICT and providing guidance on areas needing improvement. His feedback and directives are anticipated to enhance the educational standards in the region.
