Srinagar: All Parties Hurriyat Conference senior leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has extended his greetings to the Muslim Ummah, particularly the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, on the occasion of Meraj-un-Nabi.
According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq emphasized the significance of Meraj-un-Nabi as a profound event marking the divine journey of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He described the occasion as a reminder of spiritual elevation, moral integrity, and the importance of faith.
The event, known as Isra and Meraj, highlights essential values such as submission to Allah, justice, compassion, and the pursuit of knowledge and truth. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq urged people to incorporate these teachings into their daily lives.
He further called on the Muslim community to reflect on the importance of knowledge, humility, and service to humanity, drawing inspiration from the Holy Quran and the life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The statement underscored the role of Meraj-un-Nabi in promoting values that strengthen the connection between the Creator and His creation.
