Srinagar: Senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, emphasized the enduring impact of Hazrat Sultan-ul-Arifeen Sheikh Hamza Makhoom Kashmiri’s teachings on the Muslim community in Kashmir during a gathering at the historic central Jamia Masjid in Srinagar. Mirwaiz noted that the life and teachings of Hazrat Makhdoom Sahab serve as a beacon for Muslims in the region, guiding them in religious and societal matters.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, while addressing the attendees, stressed that truly honoring Hazrat Makhdoom Sahab’s contributions involves perpetuating his teachings and virtues. He expressed admiration for Hazrat Makhdoom Sahab’s devoutness, dedication, and service to humanity, aligning with the principles of the Quran and Hadith.
On the anniversary of Hazrat Makhdoom Sahab’s passing, Mirwaiz also led a prayer session aimed at uplifting Hazrat Hamzah Makhdoom Kashmiri’s spiritual status in the afterlife, reiterating the significance of following the paths of revered Islamic figures for success in life and beyond.
