Srinagar: In a heartfelt message to the Muslim community, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq extended warm greetings on the advent of Rabial Awwal, the month that marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), highlighting its significance as a time of enlightenment and moral reflection.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz emphasized the importance of the month as a period for deep reflection on the teachings, character, and life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). “By incorporating the comprehensive teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) into our daily lives, we can navigate the challenges of our time and strive towards a just and compassionate society,” Mirwaiz stated in his message delivered in Srinagar. He called upon the Muslim community to actively implement Islamic principles and values in every aspect of life.
Further elaborating on his message, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq stressed the vital role of religious leaders, scholars, and educators in spreading the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) and fostering moral and spiritual growth within the community. He urged these figures to lead by example and guide the community in living.
