Srinagar: The Awami Action Committee (AAC), led by senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has expressed grief over the death of the mother of Farooq Ahmad Soudagar, a senior member of the organization, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the AAC organized a condolence gathering in Srinagar to honor the deceased and extend condolences to the bereaved family. The event, held at the family’s residence in Rajouri Kadal, was attended by community members and others.
The family of the deceased, including Farooq Ahmad, Abdul Rahman, Khurshid Ahmad, Altaf Hussain, and Nisar Ahmad, received expressions of sympathy. Attendees also offered prayers for the deceased soul’s status in the hereafter.
The AAC gathering highlighted the support of Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq for the family in this difficult time. A significant number of AAC leaders and members participated in the funeral prayers, demonstrating their respect for the deceased.
Later, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq visited Farooq Ahmad Soudagar’s home to extend personal condolences and support.
In a related event, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq visited the home of AAC leader Muhammad Shafi Khan in Kathi Darwaza, Srinagar, following his passing. He offered prayers for the departed soul and extended sympathies to the bereaved family, wishing them patience and strength.
