Mirpur, Representatives of refugees from Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in a meeting held in Mirpur city of Azad Kashmir, have voiced grave concern over the escalation of Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the meeting was led by Qazi Imran, Vice Chairman of Pir Panjal Freedom Movement, Khawaja Ayaz, President of Jammu and Kashmir Muhajireen Ittehad Forum, and Zaheer Jaral, President of Muhajireen Ittehad Forum of Mirpur district. The participants criticized the intensified brutalities by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir, aimed at subduing the Kashmiri populace.
The attendees condemned the operations carried out by Indian troops in the Pir Panjal region, labeling India not as a democracy, but a country engaging in terrorist activities. They highlighted the severe impact of these actions on the lives of innocent Kashmiris.
In addition to condemning the Indian government’s actions, the representatives, including Qazi Imran, Khawaja Ayaz, Zaheer Jaral, Imtiaz Butt, Ijaz Mir, Mir Zafar Jaral, Riyaz Jaral, Hafiz Talib Hussain, and Chaudhry Muhammad Shafi, announced plans to observe Indian Republic Day as a Black Day. This decision is meant to send a clear message to India, rejecting its illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting also focused on the rehabilitation of Kashmiri refugees and included a detailed discussion on the subject. A special prayer session was held for the martyrs of Kashmir, paying tribute to their sacrifices.
