Muzaffarabad, August 15, 2022 (PPI-OT): President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has said that India is not a secular democracy, but in the form of majority of Hindus, there is an imposition of tyranny, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and minorities are being subjected to atrocities in India due to Modi’s fascist policies.

Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry addressing the “Meet the Press” programme in Muzaffarabad said India’s face has been exposed to the world, adding India’s Independence Day was celebrated as a Black Day by Kashmiris all over the world.

He said the time is not far when India will have to give Kashmiris their right to self-determination. The attempt to change the status of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019 this problem will be highlighted in the international forums aggressively in America, Europe and Middle East from next month, he added.

He said the Kashmir Committee has been organized in the European Parliament and the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has also assured that he would intensify his efforts to give Kashmiris their right to self-determination.

Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said that all the political parties of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir would work for the Kashmir Azadi Movement beyond their political and ideological commitment.

He said he has been given a special opportunity to represent Kashmir in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Conference. The atrocities that are being committed on minorities including Muslims in India are not happening in any other country in the world, he added.
