Islamabad, In honor of International Women’s Day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a distinguished event today, themed “Women of Substance,” celebrating the remarkable contributions of Pakistani women to national progress and societal development.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Foreign Secretary Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, in his address, praised the critical role played by women in Pakistan’s advancement. He highlighted their significant impact on societal change and underscored the achievements of female diplomats in promoting the country’s foreign policy with exceptional dedication and skill.
The ceremony also included a panel discussion led by Spokesperson Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, where the inspiring stories of influential women leaders were brought to the forefront. The event underscored the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ commitment to gender equality and its effort to recognize and celebrate the crucial role women play in shaping both the national and international narrative.
