Ministry of Climate Change and Environment Refutes Claims About Police Station Sit-in in Quetta

Quetta: The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment has dismissed allegations concerning a sit-in at the Manzoor Shaheed police station, asserting that the claims made by local residents about the event are unfounded.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the ministry’s statement highlighted that the sit-in, reportedly led by Provincial Advisor for Environment Naseemur Rehman Malakhil, concluded positively after discussions with provincial advisors and police officials who assured protestors that their grievances would be addressed. The ministry expressed disappointment over the dissemination of inaccurate reports in the media, emphasizing the importance of verifying information with relevant authorities before publication to prevent the spread of misleading news and ensure the public receives accurate information.
