Islamabad: The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination has announced a vacancy for the position of Chairman and Dean at the Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute in Lahore. Pakistani nationals meeting the required qualifications and experience are invited to apply for this senior-level post.
According to Embassy of Pakistan – Berlin, the selected candidate will be appointed to a three-year contract, with the possibility of extension for another three years. The applicant must be under 55 years of age and should have an MBBS or equivalent qualification, along with a higher postgraduate qualification such as a PhD or FCPS. Applicants with a Master’s Degree or a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health or Health Services Administration will be preferred.
Candidates must also have at least three years of experience as a professor in the medical profession, including experience in hospital administration and management. Additionally, the candidate is expected to have a minimum of 15 publications in peer-reviewed journals, with at least three in international journals.
