Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has publicly condemned the PTI for its use of a deepfake video targeting Punjab Minister for Information Azma Bukhari, describing the act as part of a deliberate and reprehensible strategy.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar expressed his disapproval through a post on his X social media account. He criticized the tactics as a reflection of PTI’s true character, suggesting that the party should feel remorse for such actions. The Minister also noted that the original video has been identified, and additional pertinent details have been gathered concerning the incident.
