Cairo: Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Pakistan’s Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, has arrived in Cairo for a five-day visit, during which he will participate in the International Conference of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs. The conference, starting tomorrow, will focus on “The Role of Women in Building Awareness,” aiming to highlight and enhance the contributions of women in Muslim societies.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Hussain’s agenda includes engaging with international leaders and scholars to discuss the critical role women play in promoting awareness and fostering harmony within Muslim communities. The conference seeks to address key issues and opportunities for women, emphasizing their importance in leadership and educational roles across Islamic nations.
