Minister Rafique Emphasizes Swift Completion of Modular Theaters at Punjab Cardiology Institute


Lahore, During a recent visit to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Khawaja Salman Rafique, the Provincial Minister of the Department of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education, underscored the urgency of completing the modular theaters currently under construction to enhance the facility’s capacity to serve patients.



According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Minister Rafique, accompanied by notable officials including Chairman Board of Management Professor Dr. Farqad Alamgir, CEO PIC Professor Dr. Anjum Jalal, and MSPIC Dr. Syed Mohsin Ali Shah, reviewed the progress of the modular theaters. The minister expressed the government’s commitment to ensuring that the theaters are completed at the earliest to alleviate the suffering of humanity and avoid any disruption of services at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology.



Highlighting the broader initiative to expand cardiology services across the province, Minister Rafique mentioned that similar capacity increases are being planned for other cardiology hospitals as well. He directed the company responsible for the construction to expedite their work, emphasizing the importance of these upgrades in meeting the healthcare needs of the population.



The visit and directives issued by Minister Rafique reflect the Punjab government’s dedication to improving healthcare infrastructure and providing timely and quality medical care to its citizens.
