Islamabad: Minister for Maritime Affairs, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, emphasized the interconnection between economic and political stability during a recent interview with a private television channel. He stressed the importance of improving the business sector to meet the government’s revenue targets for the budget of 2024 and discussed the tax measures implemented post-budget, noting efforts to alleviate pressure on low-income groups despite IMF constraints.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Sheikh called on all political parties to collaborate in creating more employment opportunities and reducing poverty across the nation, highlighting these efforts as crucial for fostering a stable economic environment.
