Islamabad: Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, has arrived in Beijing to spearhead a delegation of 20 Pakistani IT companies at the Global Digital Economy Conference 2024. The conference, which runs from July 2 to July 5, aims to foster business-to-business cooperation between Pakistani and Chinese enterprises.
According to Press Information Department, upon her arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport, Minister Khawaja was welcomed by Mr. FU HaiFeng, Director of the Digital Economy Development Center at Beijing BIIT, Mr. Bilal Mahmood Chaudhary, Deputy Head of Mission, and other senior officials from the Embassy of Pakistan. The visit emphasizes Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing its digital economic ties with China, seeking to leverage the event to promote its IT sector and explore new avenues for technological collaboration.
