Minister Musadik Stresses Importance of TAPI for Pakistan’s Energy Security


Islamabad, Dr. Musadik Malik, the Minister for Petroleum, has emphasized the strategic significance of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline for addressing Pakistan’s energy requirements. He underlined the government’s focus on the timely completion of the TAPI project as a key priority.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the remarks were made during a meeting with the Turkmenistan Ambassador to Pakistan, Atadjan Movlamov, in Islamabad today. Minister Musadik affirmed the crucial role of the TAPI project in fulfilling the growing energy demands of Pakistan and assured the ambassador of the government’s dedication to maintaining progress on the project.



Ambassador Movlamov extended an invitation to Minister Musadik to participate in the upcoming Turkmenistan Energy Forum in Paris, signaling international cooperation in energy and the recognition of Pakistan’s role in the TAPI project.
