Minister Musadik Malik Affirms Government’s Commitment to Public Service and Constitutional Tenure

Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum Musadik Malik has reiterated the government’s dedication to serving the populace in collaboration with its allies, emphasizing the intention to fulfill its constitutional term.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during an interview with a private news channel, Malik highlighted the necessity for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to embrace democratic norms to engage meaningfully in political dialogue. He pointed out that the government has consistently extended invitations for dialogue to PTI, placing the onus on them to demonstrate genuine commitment to these discussions.

Regarding the ongoing sit-in by Jamaat-e-Islami, Malik expressed that the government is actively seeking engagement, recognizing their protests as part of a democratic process. Additionally, he addressed concerns about the recent electricity crisis and the burden of rising bills. The Prime Minister has allocated 50 billion rupees to provide relief to 86 percent of households affected by the crisis, ensuring substantial support during these challenging times.
