Minister Murtaza Solangi Calls for Political Consensus on Economic Direction

Islamabad, In a recent session of the Senate, Caretaker Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Murtaza Solangi, emphasized the need for political parties in Pakistan to reach a consensus on the economic direction of the country. Addressing Senators during the Question Hour, Minister Solangi highlighted the critical importance of economic stability in addressing broader issues, including human trafficking.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the minister stressed the significance of prioritizing fundamental economic issues, particularly in the lead-up to the national elections. He pointed out that by improving the economic situation, the country could effectively tackle various challenges, thus enhancing the overall well-being of its citizens.

In addition to economic concerns, the session also touched on environmental issues. The Minister for Parliamentary Affairs drew attention to the critical matter of water wastage. Responding to this, the Chair directed the launch of awareness campaigns, including initiatives through the Pakistan Television Network (PTV), to promote water conservation among the public.
