Minister Malik Calls for Unified Global Effort to Preserve Peace

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Climate Change Musadik Malik emphasized the need for a collective global effort to maintain peace and stability during a panel session titled “Dialogue” in Islamabad. Malik highlighted the importance of international unity in addressing global challenges to peace.

Malik spoke about the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, expressing concern over what he described as “one-sided aggression” from India. He cited instances where India targeted civilian areas and critical water infrastructure.

Despite these provocations, Malik noted that Pakistan chose to exercise restraint in its response, focusing its actions on military targets instead. The minister’s remarks underscored the importance of a measured and unified international approach to conflict resolution.

The press release from Radio Pakistan did not elaborate on any specific future actions or diplomatic efforts that might be pursued. However, Malik’s statements highlight the challenges faced in maintaining regional stability and the role of international collaboration in peace preservation.
