Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asif Ali Zardari have always spoken for the rights of journalists and we made laws for the protection of journalists which no other government has made till date.

It is hoped that the Karachi Press Club’s grants will be increased and the plots of the members will be resolved on a priority basis. Sharjeel Memon said in a conversation with journalists that we have always helped media houses and journalists. We are aware of the economic challenges, yet we are talking to the Chief Minister of Sindh to increase the grant of journalists. Sindh government has made the first law for journalists. He said that many campaigns were conducted against us and propaganda was done under a well-thought-out conspiracy, but we do not believe in such politics. We are democratic minded people while other parties have always maintained authoritarian attitude. The previous government used to invite journalists of their choice and give interviews so that they could ask questions of their choice. He said that I am giving news that we are coming to the government again. What the mandate thief party has done to this country and nation, today they complain that we are not being heard even though they started it themselves.

He acted on all of the dictatorial thinking and during his tenure, political rivals were imprisoned in false cases and Media was banned. The only contender for freedom of expression is the PPP, which believes in service and gentleness. Sharjeel Memon said that the state of MQM and Jamaat-e-Islami is in front of you. Today, cleaning work is being done in Karachi, but those who had the government of Karachi did not give anything. He added that whether it is transport or health, we are number one. MQM and Jamaat-e-Islami should stop their bitterness and talk to us if there is any problem and if there is any problem, talk to us. Minister said that they want bitterness because we speak bitterly, but we do not believe in it, we want to convey a message of love. Our real competition will be on polling day in general election. He added that our message is love, we want a bouquet in the country, we do not fight in politics, and we do politics.

We are people of pen, not people of arms, you know those who fight. Sharjeel Memon said that he has seen the situation of PTI in local elections. They don’t care, they don’t matter – They are cowards. Instead of facing trial, they have gone into hiding. He said PTI has harmed the country, History is a witness to the fact that we have never entered the government through the door of thieves. Wanted to end the Bhutto family but we fought hard. Information Minister said that the attitude against us has been very strict.

In our profile you will find testimonials and others have only backdoor contacts. He said that we have no problem or danger from MQM London, we are outraged that their leader’s words were against our country. He added that the trend against our institutions includes hostile countries. PTI’s fight is with this country and not with institutions. They want to see the country default. PTI has set an example of forgetfulness. She wants to harm institutions. We stand with the state institutions of judiciary.

Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that Jamaat-e-Islami has benefited from MQM’s boycott in local elections. We do the politics of reconciliation, but we are being treated with the politics of hypocrisy. He said that the mandate of Karachi is with us, we have not committed any robbery. The benefit of MQM boycott is known to all. He said that what happened to us in 1979 is a part of history. Now you will get to see a new Karachi. Projects worth 200 billion have been earmarked for Karachi. Many new schemes have been launched and many projects are in final stages.
